4. The most frustrating thing is when you’re super patient, wait for the dip, buy & the platform ends up giving you a price 5% higher than what you bought at…

   1. @Dymonz Good call! I’ve never used limit orders, nor have I started taking profits but today has me considering otherwise

   2. That’s why you look at the current ask and set a limit close to the ask.

   3. @Derek Stark yea only reason I haven’t been destroyed (even though I got into the market in march) is from market orders. Friends get angry and even today myself when I wanted to check my orders the Exchange was down. Market orders make sure you get your profits and/or you buy the wicks

   4. That’s what limit orders are for. If you do a market order you will get the most expensive price at the time

9. Picking up some DOT at -26% was an unexpected surprise!

   3. iam a bit skint at the moment so best i could do is swop £500 BTC to DOT that is 11% down on BTC don’t know if it was the right thing to do but ill roll the dice i guess:)

12. I LOVE these flash crashes. They became one of my favorite things about the cryptoverse. Buying cheaper coins when most people are panicking is quite rewarding.

    1. agree, just not quite as fun when it dips even more

    2. Unfortunately some of these larger dips are unforeseen. Who would have thought that the adoption of BTC by El Salvador would trigger a panic sell (quite the to contrary). Even if one bought say 5-10% below the top, a 10-20% dip can wipe out all gaines and then some in a matter of minutes, unless one’s willing to hold for who knows how long till it climbs back up again. Dubious speculation at best. hehe

13. What an interesting coincidence. There are so many news articles this morning talking about BTC tumbling with El Salvador’s roll out as legal tender. Have to wonder if the country bought the dip.

19. Ben, we always think we haven’t reached the very top of the regression band yet (because we had a rounded top instead of blowoff top). But notice how the bull market support band got to the exact level as the last 2 cycle tops.

    Hodling since 2017, dumped all lately, waiting to buy back below 30k🤞
