$4,225 Day Trading Dow Jones (YM) 01-23-19

Posted on March 13, 2022March 5, 2022 By Kelly Donner 30 Comments on $4,225 Day Trading Dow Jones (YM) 01-23-19

, this is using Code 3 on the Mini-DJIA symbol name (YM). I just wanted to show how well Code 3 is working on the YM, but I show in this video how all the instruments have the same exact chart, and why then the ES is the best way to go for trading cheaply with $400 margin. But with the use of Code 3 you have your choice on what you want to trade. I'll be back for more Code 3 trading next up I'll go back to the ES again to show what Code 3 can do…..I hope all of you are really loving Code 3 🙂 Happy Trading…..David

Woo Hah!! Made 200+ ticks trading oil today. Would’ve made 300 ticks if I stayed trading to noon.

@@Day Trading Oil Futures Awesome trading!!! For a new trader , what do you think is the best time to trade (YM for example) in order to catch the 300++ ticks that you have mentioned.

It depends upon the market, but the USA session is best as the ES is a USA index, but if it’s active the European session is also very good…..

The time you see on the charts is PST, so 3 hours behind EST…..

ES charts are more clear in my opinion. Would have been nice if this video was live chat because i think that iB give me always wrong codes on their charts.

Another great demo video, David! Thank you 🙂
As always, thanks for the sharing your astute insights!
Well, I guess I’ll just give the Code 3 on oil a break for a while and start trading the indexes instead – have certainly been struggling with oil (using Code 3 only – may have faired better if I incorporrated Codes 1 & 2, however, still need to learn those – look forward to your upcoming updated Charting Services!). 🙂

great day , nailed nice trades too… Its good to use trendlines, levels of breakouts etc… to use CODE 3 with all other stuff is pretty cool 🙂

Hey, nice trading in the YM. question, in another video when you were talking about the code 3. you mentioned that in your opinion you would learn code 3 in practice of 10 minutes. but in this video you mentioned that likely some of the people that use the codes they have studied the code for a long time. would you tell me what is your opinion on the analysis of the code 3 for someone who has never seen your charting service?

    1. Day Trading Oil Futures says:
      January 23, 2019 at 10:33 pm

I think Code 3 is super easy to use, it’s the easiest trading system I’ve ever seen before……

Planning to buy for CL trade. Which Code is better you think for Crude Trades?

    1. Day Trading Oil Futures says:
      January 24, 2019 at 10:48 pm

Well if just for Crude alone and you want to minimize your time in front of the computer then Code 2 is best, but Code 1 really helps knowing with the Code 2, so both Code 1 and Code 2 would be really good for Oil. But some people really struggle with using Code 2 so if that were the case then Code 3 is best…..

Good afternoon David! Thanks for always being so informative on your Youtube channel. Was just curious when you may do an update on the code 3 course home page that gives us a better perspective on what kind of stop losses work best for which markets, also for when we should put breakeven stops at a certain number of ticks ahead, and just overall better techniques you have discovered now that you have traded numerous instruments. Thank you.

I need a little more time to figure all of this out, and soon I’m going to start up a charting service again and this will really help me to analyze each instrument much better…..

      January 25, 2019 at 4:34 am

Also one the next things I need to do is take another look at these other instruments and look for a Code 2 to them. Since I’ve been watching them all now one thing that truly stands out is the fact that they all go in the same direction relative to the chart, to where all their charts look identical. Since this is an equation of time relative to price I cannot think of a logical explanation or possibility that these other instruments must have a Code 2, I cannot fathom at the moment how it would be possible for them not to. Therefore either I’m wrong about this or I made a mistake before and didn’t take a close enough look to find the Code 2. So I will try to find it this time, assuming I’m able to we can simply use the Code 2 and either use a Code 1 into it or a Code 3 entry into it, and then we should also have a good idea on how many ticks we can get just like we do with Oil. Now if I’m unable to find a Code 2 for these other instruments we of course have Code 3 to use, so we then will need to find out things like:
      1. What time is currently the best time to trade?
      2. How many ticks are the code 3’s good for?
      3. Is there a pattern to the Code 3’s, can a matrix be found?
      4. What is the outcome when taking only those Code 3 signals going in the same direction as Daily Chart versus taking all of them?
      5. Is there a certain amount of ticks we could go for each time that has a high mathematical chance of being hit where we give up ticks on some trades but hit the majority of trades, say like 40-50 ticks perhaps?
      6. What instrument does the Code 2 work the best one or all they all relatively the same?
      7. Almost all Code 3 reversals so far seem to be coming at the Code 1, maybe knowing Code 1 with Code 3 is best in order to avoid the losses on the reversals?
      8. Should we place a protective stop on the trade at all or is it better to play another method, such as perhaps with no stop but using a combination of Code 1 and Code 3 so that when a reversal is going to happen you can see it happening with Code 1, at which point you can simply exit the trade instead of holding it for a loss?
      9. Is there an absolute best time to trade and use Code 3, even just a couple of hours during the trading day for each instrument and if so what is that time?
      10. And during this best time to trade and use Code 3, what is the best way to trade during that time? How many ticks to go for on each entry?

These are just a quick ten I can think of, but rest assured there are MANY more, we can analyze this mathematically in many different ways to break the code down into smaller segments of useful information so that we can utilize it properly and profit from it. But in order for me to give this the credit it deserves I need to chart out the Code 3 properly and do it for all the top instruments. Only then can I truly analyze it properly. So give me some time and I’ll do instrument by instrument and then update the Code 3 course with this information. But right at this moment I want to know if these other instruments have a Code 2, I think they must have otherwise there is no way their charts could follow each other like that, and thus there must be a Code 2 there somewhere. If we can find a Code 2 for these other instruments then we can use a Code 3 entry into them and make this ten times easier on ourselves and I believe we can do it……

@Day Trading Oil Futures Sounds Fantastic, David! Really looking forward your findings! What an advantage such information would provide us. :-O
Yeah, one of the things that I’ve been experiencing is having my break even protective stop hit only to have the position turn back in the right direction shortly thereafter, and considerably so in quite a few cases, leaving many ticks on the board, so to speak. 🙁

@Day Trading Oil Futures Can you just learn the code 3 system if you are new to this or should you learn code 1 first, then code 2 and then code 3? Manily on the ES Mini? Thanks
