ZNQ BMO NASDAQ 100 Equity Index ETF REVIEW

Posted on March 8, 2022March 5, 2022 By Kelly Donner 22 Comments on ZNQ BMO NASDAQ 100 Equity Index ETF REVIEW

ZNQ BMO NASDAQ 100 Equity Index ETF REVIEW, in this video I breakdown the ZNQ BMO NASDAQ 100 Equity Index ETF. The BMO Nasdaq 100 Equity Index ETF has been designed to replicate, to the extent possible, the performance of a NASDAQ listed companies index, net of expenses. The Fund invests in and holds the Constituent Securities of the Index in the same proportion as they are reflected in the Index.

The NASDAQ-100 Index is a modified market capitalization weighted index that tracks 100 of the largest non-financial securities listed on the NASDAQ Stock Market based on market capitalization. To be included in the Index as a Constituent Security, an issue generally must be: (i) an eligible security type including common stocks, ordinary shares, ADRS, shares of beneficial interest or limited partnerships interests and tracking stocks.; and (ii) the security of a company that is exclusively listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market and the securities must have average daily trading volume of at least 200,000 shares.

Fund Benefits
– Designed for investors looking for growth solutions
– Provides convenient and efficient exposure to U.S. non-financial equities
– Benefits from local currency appreciation
– Professionally managed by BMO Global Asset Management

My long term holds are not great right now but I had some calls on Virgin Galactic for $38 strike this friday. I am out of it now but got them at .70 and sold them at $4… looked at them this morning because I was curious what they got to and they were up to $6 which sucks cause I should have held on, but I was happy making around 5x my money…. plus Im long on Tesla and Virgin Galactic … even though these things dont even out the unrealized losses on the long term holds I am not selling the longs holds any time soon so I probably wont see a loss

Could you please explain the liquidity risk with this ETF?

Great idea for a video… will make that very soon… but in quick it’s basically how many shares are traded everyday… the more shares traded makes it easier to buy and sell

@The Dividend Investor time decay? I don’t get how that works if the stock goes up 5% then down 5% then back to 5% isn’t it equal? I bought at 44 then dropped to 40 then I sold at 45 and I didn’t lose anything and got my $1 a share profit

    2. The Dividend Investor says:
      February 15, 2021 at 2:37 pm

I thought HQU was a leveraged ETF

@The Dividend Investor it’s 2x what nasdaq-100 does so I don’t know why people say you lose money if you hold longer then 1 day 🤷‍♂️

    4. The Dividend Investor says:
      February 15, 2021 at 3:10 pm

I only have basic knowledge on leveraged ETFs but I think you start seeing it after 5 days… I learn the most by investing in things. I would need to invest in it to see how it works fully

@The Dividend Investor last trade I was holding was 2 weeks didn’t see any money lose just holding I’m going to buy some and leave it alone and see what happens

Great video-thank you very much for your time! I love your background. I am thinking of purchasing ZNQ as a long term hold. Do you think that the low trading volume is a concern? Thank you.

LOL thanks, I try and have nice backgrounds as a long term hold I think its great, for a day trade not the greatest due to volume
