   2. Fiat is built on confidence. Lose confidence and the money printer system is done. Bitcoins ultimate goal is to have insignificant supply inflation not to become deflationary. Thats a word you use when you think in dollars only.

   4. You’re absolutely right. You will have no incentive to spend, the economy would become essentially Japan over the last 30 years. Absolutely terrible for an economy. Bitcoin only succeeds because it’s traded in fiat.
