Sorry but this is not exact. Buffett never said that you can`t beat the s&p500, he actually said the opposite throughout the years and especially in the latest annual report (2020) where he showed how he compounded at 20% since the creation of Berkshire Hathaway (which means he doubled the returns of the s&p500)
