Warren Buffett of Berkshire Hathaway explains that S&P 500 low cost index fund is what he picks for the average investor.

Mr. Buffett also advises the average investor to buy S&P index fund over a long period of time. By investing in S&P index fund, Warren Buffett says that one should not worry about the price multiples because S&P index is like buying America over the long term.

    at the end when Warren Buffett said you just live in a different world than you did 20 or 30 years ago. We may be in exactly that world today. Rates are zero and stock prices are high.

      @Carlos Notar the s and p 500 seems like a decent investment. Which ones do you have right now?

      @kys i have 60% in s&p 500 20% in emerging markets and 20% in international

      @donat zubcic i don’ reccomend investing in the s and p 500 anymore. Instead invest in SPUS. This etf has no bank stocks and is more likely to do better overtime

      @kys well id look more into it but s&p has over a 100 year track record and probably one of the best investors on the planet “Buffet” says s&p is most likeley to outperform any stock investor over time and also protect your investment since the longer it sits the safer
