You should start up a patreon!
I’ve actually been setting a Patreon up but haven’t decided yet on what sort of tiers to include. Let me know if there is anything you would like to see included!
Thanks for your support!
@GO Invest I’d say 2-3 tiers. one for basic access to your trades for the day and possible trends, as well as access to a discord chat for every member, and maybe the second tier could be your live trading decisions or something or that sort. Just an idea!
Thanks for the feedback! Those are some great ideas!
What program were you using at the beginning
Are you referring to the stock chart? If so thats on TradingView!
What about SPLG?
Another great option with a low expense ratio!
Hey bro, great video. Are you able to explain why different index funds that track the same index seem to be priced differently? I am looking to buy but struggling to understand how the prices can vary so widely based on the same index. Thanks!
Thanks for your comment! If you are referring to the share price of the ETF than this is the same as stocks and is just simply based on how many shares are available.
For stocks an example is Apple, which has a share price of only $145 but a market cap of $2.4 trillion and Netflix, which has a share price of $536 and a market cap of $237 billion. The difference here is that Apple’s actual value of $2.4 trillion is split into 16.7 billion shares while Netflix’s value of $237 billion is split into only 443 million shares.
The same is true for ETFs where the price you pay for one share is simply a function of the ETF’s number of shares available and it’s net asset value (the total value of all stocks, bonds and cash held by the ETF). For this reason it’s best not to choose an ETF based on share price other than for the ease of trading in small quantities.
@GO Invest thank you mate, appreciate the response
SPYV?
Thanks for commenting! That’s a good option for value! I just didn’t include it since it’s not a vanilla S&P500 ETF.
I think I will go to SPYG.
Great choice! Thanks for watching.
how has SPYG went for you?
Hello, which site did you use to track and show us in the video?
Here again. Lol. Great content as always. I track Buffett’s ETFs and talk about them. Appreciate your stopping by someday. Cheers.
Would you keep SPYD long term??
I’m not a financial advisor, but if you want to collect passive income from the high dividend yield of SPYD, then yes. Since it tracks lower-end companies it is most likely not going to be very lucrative in terms of capital gains.
