ABOUT US Candlestick Shop is an enterprise of Sunset Capital Management, which was formed in 1999 by Alan Williams as a financial institute specializing in short to medium term trading of NYSE and NASDAQ securities. Our Ann Arbor, Michigan trading facility uses state of the art computer equipment to facilitate on-line trading. In addition to having access to state of the art equipment, Sunset Capital traders have been trained under the finest financial trading training institutes in the country. Alan Williams earned a BSME degree from Valparaiso University, and a holds a Master of Management from GMI. In 1998, Alan discovered trading techniques based on Japanese candlestick patterns, and slowly began to phase these highly affective methods into his trading style. Presently, all traders at Sunset Capital use Japanese candlestick patterns as a primary tool for identifying high potential trading opportunities in the market. In early 2000, Alan expanded his business by opening Candlestick Shop, an internet based stock recommendation service specializing in the use of Japanese candlestick patterns. The Candlestick Shop was designed to service short term traders at all levels. The novice trader is invited to follow the 'Play of the Day' (free service), which identifies in detail the elements of a good trade set up, and the 'Recent Profitable Plays', which explains in retrospect possible ways that previous daily recommendations could have been played for profit. The more experienced player is invited to follow Today's Candlesticks' for a daily list of high potential candlestick patterns setups playable under favorable market environment.
